OUR TERRIOR AND TRADITION
Crafted Beneath Rattlesnake Mountain
When Colin Morrell established the property in 1996, the 109.3-acre site was mostly pastureland and apricot orchards. A Washington State University Horticulture graduate with decades of viticulture experience, Colin recognized the immense potential in the land’s south and southeast slopes, elevation, and well drained soils. Over nearly three decades, that vision transformed the land into a premier vineyard known for producing exceptional fruit for top winemakers across the region.
For years, we crafted small-batch wines purely for our own family and friends. Driven by that passion, we are excited to officially go commercial—led by winemakers Colin Morrell and Austin Morrell (who also holds a degree in Viticulture and Enology from WSU), alongside consulting winemaker Kendall Mix. Together, our team brings decades of combined winemaking and viticultural experience to every bottle. We take immense pride in every barrel we craft, following Salmon Safe and Sustainable WA practices to protect our land for generations to come.
